'The Year of Trump': Gutfeld on What We Learned From the Election

This week on the Greg Gutfeld Show, Greg Gutfeld looked back at 2016, summarizing it as 'The Year of Trump'.

"[President-elect Donald Trump] put his big fat name all over 2016, like it was one of his gold-plated buildings on the Upper East Side," Gutfeld said.

Gutfeld said that he and the president-elect do not see eye-to-eye on some things, but noted that whenever Trump said something that irritated him, a liberal celebrity would respond with something else he disliked more.

He said that standing by principles came in second to 'victory' in 2016:

"Our strident religious leaders just admitted that winning is more fun than church," he said, adding that Trump once referred to the Eucharist as "a cracker" but was still embraced by his supporters.
